Headache
Headache is a prevalent condition that can be highly disabling, and it is often caused by tension and inflammation in the fascia and joint dysfunction. It can range from mild to severe and can be either acute or chronic, lasting for weeks or even months. Migraine and tension headaches are two of the most common types and are known to involve fascial and joint dysfunction, which can cause significant pain, discomfort, and disruption to daily life. In chronic cases, headaches can lead to significant emotional distress, anxiety, and depression, further exacerbating the problem.
Symptoms
Commonly reported symptoms of headaches include pain or discomfort in the head, sensitivity to light or sound, nausea or vomiting, dizziness or lightheadedness, and in the case of migraines, visual disturbances or aura. Tension headaches are often characterized by a dull, aching pain that feels like a tight band around the head. Migraines, on the other hand, can cause severe, throbbing pain that is often accompanied by other symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, and sensitivity to light and sound.
